I’m a photographer drawn to the North — its vast spaces, quiet light, and the subtle stories hidden in stillness. My work seeks to capture the quiet drama of nature: moments where the world pauses, and beauty exists in its purest form.
Each image is an invitation to slow down — to listen to the silence, to feel the weight of the landscape, and to find meaning in the spaces between. From misty fjords to snow-dusted forests, my lens explores the calm, the awe, and the timelessness of the Northern wilderness.

How it started...
As with many, it all started when I was young. Growing up I’ve spent most of my weekends and holidays on the dutch lakes and seas. This has instilled the love and appreciation for nature and its beauty in me. Even though my father had a SLR camera my photographic journey didn’t start until I was in my early 20’s. I became interested in Photography, but it mostly was a dorment hobby.
Most of my time was spent doing what I’ve been doing from a young age, tinkering with computers, software, infrastructure, security, which till this day is still my career. A passion which has served me well for over 30 years now.
Fast forward to today, since 2020 I’ve been investing more and more time in photography. Following courses, honing my skills. I needed an outlet from the fast-moving world I work in, something to slow down and enjoy that what I’ve enjoyed as a child… Nature.

My photos...
Over the years I’ve visited Scandinavia, especially Sweden, many times and fell in love with the vastness of the landscape, the peace and quiet that’s still to be found. I try to convey those feelings in my images, to slow down and appreciate the beauty of our planet.
